The Field Museum of Natural History, also known as The Field Museum, is a natural history museum in Chicago, Illinois, and is one of the largest such museums in the world.
The T. Rex “Sue” was found by Sue Hendrickson and was over 40 feet long and weighed over 10 tons. Patagotitan was the largest land animal to ever walk on earth at 122 feet long, weighing over 70 tons. Spinosaurus was featured in Jurassic Park III. Cryolophoaurus was found in the Antarctic.
Lystostratus was related to mammals and was one of the few land animals to survive the Permian Extinction (252 million years ago) which wiped out 80% of land animals and 90% of marine animals. In the Early Triassic, they were by far the most common terrestrial vertebrates, accounting for as many as 95% of the total individuals in some fossil beds.
